I've been here a few times now and each time is a fairly good experience. I had onion rings and they're probably best onion rings I've had, the coffee was pretty good too. Everyone was satisfied with their order and the server was nice. My only gripe would be their timing, onion rings came way before the other food and the drinks came out way before that. Meals should always be brought out within good time of each other.

We ordered hoisin pulled-pork steamed bun, wedges, Cajun fried chicken, and pork ribs, all to share. The food was great but the friend chicken had a thick and a little hard crust to our liking. We were not given side plates for the sharing plates and the cutlery in the tray were insufficient. Perhaps the staff could pay more attention to these as little things count towards the overall service. The seating was spacious. However, the environment was a bit dim due to the lighting. My recommendation when dining in with Kage will be to order some side salads as most meals are meat-heavy.

We arrived just in opening and was super impressed with the coffee best mocha I have had in a long time. I ordered the chicken and waffles and was also really impressed by the presentation and it was delicious. Only meh thing I had to say about it was the floors could have done with a bit of a clean. But food and coffee was excellent.

Generous portion size, reasonable price. We did find the dishes a little on the salty side. Outdoor seating available. Drink menu available. Neighbourhood gem.
