Loved the location of the place, middle of the city and very easy to find. The ambience was old school we loved the vibe. We didn't have reservations but managed to get a table for 4 people. Waiting time was minimum. Staff was very friendly and kept following up if we enjoyed the food. The food ???? ???? so good, very tasty & portions ridiculously large. I had the pork short ribs with a side of broccoli and my friends had the steaks. Overall loved it and would for sure be back for dinner once in Auckland again 10/10 recommend.
Finally got a change to pay a visit to one of the famous steakhouses in town. Amazing food and friendly staffs not to mention there are so many cool and warn decorations in the restaurant. We ordered The Pacific Steak and Fillet Mignon. The steak is so tender and juicy. Chips are so good and don't feel oily at all.
Outstanding service and delicious, masterful cuisine. ???????? No wonder this place is an institution! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality. The seafood was so fresh and succulent - such generous portions! What really makes this place incredible is the knowledgeable, professional yet warm staff - they are fantastic.
My partner and I came in to treat ourselves for the first time in a very long time. The place was very nice we had never been here before but wanted to support local. The service was great such a lovely staff. We ordered the crumbed scallops, they were very yummy with the sauce on them, my partner got the salmon for her main and I got the Tony's original steak meal. My partner was impressed with hers and overall I was with mine the steak was cooked exactly how I asked. The biggest letdown was finding rotten bits of salad among my fresh salad after taking a few mouthfuls. The staff were great about this asking if I wanted anything else. Overall I would try again and recommend to others.
OK it's my fault. I should not forget to take pictures of the mains...... Sorry, I missed out Eyed Fillets, Fish and chips, chicken burger and others This is the most famous steakhouse in town, but I was only here for my first time the other day Perhaps it was because I was having lunch instead of dinner. I really can't tell the difference between here and there. But I have to address that the lunch menu was really value for the money. Hopefully next time I would have time to try dinner, try a better steak.
